Beverly (Mrs. Roger) Jaenisch, 79, of Fergus Falls, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, at her home.

She was born on Jan. 19, 1923, in Fergus Falls, the daughter of Ole C. and Alma Boyum. She grew up and attended school in Fergus Falls then attended Concordia College in Moorhead. On July 6, 1944, she married Roger B. Jaenisch at First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. After her husband's discharge from the Army, the couple farmed west of Fergus Falls and raised their three children.

In 1970, the couple moved to Pelican Rapids where they lived until 1998, when Mr. Jaenisch became a resident at the Minnesota Veterans Home and Mrs. Jaenisch moved to the Riverbend Apartments in Fergus Falls. She was a life long and active member of First Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls. While living in Pelican Rapids, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. The couple enjoyed winters in south Texas and spending time with family. She liked crafts and sewing.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death were her husband, Roger, who died on March 16, 2002; her parents; one brother, Charles; and four sisters, Hazel, Blanche, Myrtle and Louise. Survivors include two daughters, Bobbie (Gordy) Flink of Erhard, and Nancy Jaenisch of Dalton; one son, Jon (Julie) Jaenisch of Erhard; two granddaughters, Shawna Mohn of Fergus Falls, and Jessica (Dylan) Roberts of Erhard; and one great-granddaughter, Kaliya Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Charles was born on 24 June 1911 at Minnesota, USA.¹ He was the son of Ole C. (Hans) Boyum and Alma Wilhelmina Olsen. Charles died 11 January 1981 at Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA, at age 69.¹

     Eunice was born circa 1914 at Slayton, Murray County, Minnesota, USA. She was the daughter of Ole C. (Hans) Boyum and Alma Wilhelmina Olsen. She married William John Schwartz on 22 September 1938 at Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota, USA. (South Dakota Marriages, 1905-1949). Eunice died 1945 at Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA.

     Hazel was born circa 1909 at Slayton, Murray County, Minnesota, USA. She was the daughter of Ole C. (Hans) Boyum and Alma Wilhelmina Olsen. She married Edwin J. Fossen.
     Hazel Alvera Boyum was a public school teacher in 1930 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, USA.

     Louise was born on 22 February 1907 at Minnesota, USA.² She was the daughter of Ole C. (Hans) Boyum and Alma Wilhelmina Olsen. She married Morley McKean Gordon. Louise died 3 July 1959 at Ramsey County, Minnesota, USA, at age 52.²
