Mary Zersen, 76 years old of Antioch, Illinois passed away Thursday, February 5, 1998 at Rolling Hills Manor Nursing Home in Zion, IL. She was born January 22, 1922 in Lake Forest, IL the daughter of the late Frederick and Anna (Mentz) Biebert.
She was a lifelong resident of the Lake County area.
Mrs. Zersen was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Antioch, and the Ladies Aid of the Church.
On March 8, 1943 she married Carl Zersen in Libertyville, IL.
Survivors include her husband Carl; one son Jerry (Sherrie) of Lindenhurst, IL; one daughter, Dori (Rocky) Noble of Wildwood, IL, and one brother Edwin (Muriel) Biebert of Mercer, WI. She was the grandmother of Tracie Zersen and Ryan and Adam Noble.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 9, 1998 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1275 S. Main Street, Antioch, IL. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. Friends may call at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main Street (Rte. 83), Antioch, IL from 3:00-7:30 PM Sunday and Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service at church.
