Obituary31 December 2011Obituary for June Nancy Durrenberger

6/13/31 - 12/25/11

June Nancy Durrenberger was born on June 13, 1931 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. She was one of two children born to Dorothy & Victor Verhulst. June graduated from Wauwatosa High School and attended Marquette University and University of Wisconsin - Madison.

June was a long time employee of Santa Barbara County, working both for the Health Department and Sherriff's Department. She loved to garden, was fond of long walks, was an avid reader and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

Jim Durrenberger, her devoted husband of 45 years who passed away in 2000, was a World War II veteran. After retiring from a long career at General Motors he did volunteer work for St Marks Parish and Catholic Charities.

June is survived by sister Doris Feller, daughters Sally Williamson and Judy Wilner, son Paul Durrenberger, daughter in law Lisa Durrenberger, son in law Bob Wilner, granddaughters Holly and Natalie Williamson and Emma Durrenberger and grandson Jack Durrenberger.

A private memoriam will be held for the immediate family members later this week. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Meals on Wheels in June Durrenberger's name.
