     On the 86th anniversary of her birth Mrs. Philomene Poutre Richard passed away at 11:30 last evening at the home of her daughter, Miss Rosalie Richard, on Fourth street northeast, death resulting from the infirmaties of old age. Mrs. Richard was born April 15, 1839, at St. John's Canada, and was married on November 24, 1857, to F.X. Richard at St. Johns. In 1873 they moved to the United States and in 1883 they came to Morrison county, where they have since made their home. Mr. Richard passed away two years ago.
     Mrs. Richard is survived by three sons - J.D. Richard of this city and J.R. Richard and J.T. Richard of Hanley, Sask., - one daughter, - Miss Rosalie Richard - a brother Calice Poutre - and a sister - Mrs. N. Menard - both of New Bedford, Mass. She is survived by 20 grandchildren. Another son, Frank Richard, died three weeks ago.
     Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at the St. Francis Xavier church, of which the deceased was a member, and interment will be in Calvary cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Richardson and Miss Hazel Richard of Minneapolis and Louis Richard of Long Prairie will be here for the funeral.
