Agnes H. (Mrs. Joe W.) Kostelecky, 93, Dickinson, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at St. Benedict's Health Center, Dickinson.

A Mass of Christian burial for Agnes is at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2007, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dickinson, with the Rev. Austin Vetter as the celebrant. Interment is in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson.

Visitation is from 1-9 p.m. today at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m. with Deacon Ralph Stockert presiding.
Agnes H. Lisko was born on Jan. 21, 1914, to Anton and Mary (Fisher) Lisko in Dickinson. She was educated in the Dickinson schools and worked for some time at Scheeler?s Hardware and Grocery in south Dickinson in her younger years.

Agnes married Joe W. Kostelecky on June 19, 1933, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, and they were blessed with 54 years of marriage. Joe went to his eternal father on June 22, 1987.

Agnes was a jail matron for the Stark County Jail from 1949 to 1954, assisting her husband, who at the time was the sheriff of Stark County.
She was a long standing, loyal and faithful member of the Catholic Daughters of America, St. Patrick's Church and school and a charter member of The Ministry of Praise.

Agnes lived a very full and active life. Her priorities were her family, church and prayer, and she made absolutely certain that persons that stopped in to visit were treated with home style hospitality and had enough to eat. Usually a spirited game of cards followed. She loved the card game of bridge, especially the bid of "no trump" and often winning high point in her later years with players a generation or two younger.

Agnes is survived by her four children, Donald J. (Lucy) Kostelecky, Dickinson, Jolyn McCue, Billings, Mont., Judy (Terry) Hager, Grand Forks, and Geri Glazer, Louisville, Colo; two sisters, Anne (Orville) Narum and Mary (Ernest) Bailey, both of Dickinson; brother, George Lisko, Dickinson; two sisters-in-law, Clara Lisko, Bismarck, and Bertha Lisko, Dickinson; 12 grandchildren, Shannon, Michael, Deborah (Steve), Ken (Cheryl), Cathe (Ron), Deidra (Dean), Dan (Penny), Tim, Lisa, Mark, Amy Jo, Laura, Ryan (Tiffany), Mariah, Jordan and Dylan; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Isadore, Ted, Adolph, Anton and Edwin; sisters, Mildred and Philomine; an infant daughter, Margaret Ann; and son, Gerald. (Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson).

     Annie was born in 1922 at Dickinson, Stark County, North Dakota, USA.¹ She is the daughter of Anton (Anthony) Lisko and Mary Fisher.

     Anton was born in 1908 at Dickinson, Stark County, North Dakota, USA.¹ He was the son of Anton (Anthony) Lisko and Mary Fisher.

     Anton was born on 4 January 1881 at Alexandroffka, Crimea, Ukraine, Russia. He married Mary Fisher, daughter of Isidore Fisher and Anna Kolar, on 18 January 1905 at Crimea, Ukraine, Russia. Anton died 23 May 1933 at Dickinson, Stark County, North Dakota, USA, at age 52.
     Anton immigrated to America on 21 December 1905. Anton arrived at Ellis Island from Liverpool aboard the ship "Oceanic" on December 21, 1905. On the Passenger List hisr name was spelled Lishko. Because he had an eye infection, he was not allowed to travel with his wife who left a week earlier from Rotterdam. They met up in New York and travelled together to Dickinson, ND.

     Isidore was born in 1905 at Crimea, Ukraine, USA. He was the son of Anton (Anthony) Lisko and Mary Fisher.
     Isidore immigrated to America on 14 December 1905. Mary and her infant son arrived at Ellis Island from Rotterdam aboard the ship "Rotterdam" on December 14, 1905. On the Passenger List their name was spelled Lischka and their place of residence was cited as Sinfropol, Crimea, Ukraine. Mary's husband, Anton, was not allowed to travel to America because of an eye infection. He came a week later, arriving in New York on December 21, 1905.

     Stephen was born in 1925 at Dickinson, Stark County, North Dakota, USA.¹ He is the son of Anton (Anthony) Lisko and Mary Fisher.

     Theodore was born in 1926 at Dickinson, Stark County, North Dakota, USA.¹ He was the son of Anton (Anthony) Lisko and Mary Fisher. Theodore Lisko was buried in 1968 at in Saint Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson, Stark County, North Dakota, USA.² Theodore died 1968. He was buried on 12 July 1994 at in North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, Morton County, North Dakota, USA.²

     Bryan was born on 20 April 1894 at Wessington, Beadle County, South Dakota, USA.¹ He was the son of Walter Ross Lloyd and Carrie Blanche Dake.
     Bryan W. Lloyd was a bank clerk for James Valley Bank in 1917 at Huron, Beadle County, South Dakota, USA.¹ He registered for World War I military service on 5 June 1917 at Huron, Beadle County, South Dakota, USA.

     Carol was born on 27 December 1958. She is the daughter of Robert Ewart Lloyd and Anne Bold. She married Joseph Jaeger on 7 June 1986 at First Prebyterian Church, Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, USA.

     David was born on 4 November 1948. He was the son of Robert Ewart Lloyd and Anne Bold. David died 27 December 1949 at age 1.

     Gordon was born on 28 February 1921 at Huron, Beadle County, South Dakota, USA. He was the son of Walter Ross Lloyd and Jessie Gordon Ewart. Gordon Ross Lloyd married Susan Troup Uran on 22 August 1942. Gordon died 9 April 2010 at Sarasota, Sarasota County, Florida, USA, at age 89.

DECATUR - Gordon Ross Lloyd, 89, died April 9, 2010, in Sarasota, Florida. He was born February 28, 1921 in Huron, South Dakota, son of Walter Ross and Jessie Ewart Lloyd. He graduated from Decatur High School in 1938, attended Washington & Lee University and graduated from Millikin University in 1942. He served in the US Marine Corps in the Pacific in World War II. He married Susan Troup Uran on August 22, 1942. He was Treasurer and co-owner of the Benson Creamery Company. He served on the Board of Directors of The First National Bank of Decatur, Millikin University, Decatur Memorial Hospital, The Decatur Country Club, The Decatur Club, United Way and the Kiwanis Club of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brother, and is survived by his daughters Lucy (Scott) Murphy and Jane (Gary) Wright, of Decatur, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 17 at the First Presbyterian Church in Decatur. Schilling Funeral Home in Mattoon is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to The Community Foundation of Decatur/ Macon County.

     Jane was born in 1951. She is the daughter of Gordon Ross Lloyd and Susan Troup Uran. She married Gary Wright at First Prebyterian Church, Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, USA.

     Jessie was born on 16 September 1988. She is the daughter of Stephen Lloyd and Linda Kircher.

     John was born on 27 July 1952. He is the son of Robert Ewart Lloyd and Anne Bold.

     Lucy was born in 1946. She is the daughter of Gordon Ross Lloyd and Susan Troup Uran. She married Scott Murphy at First Prebyterian Church, Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, USA.

     Michael was born on 6 May 1987. He is the son of Stephen Lloyd and Linda Kircher.

     Robert was born on 5 October 1924 at Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, USA. He was the son of Walter Ross Lloyd and Jessie Gordon Ewart. He married Anne Bold on 12 June 1946 at the home of the brides mother, Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, USA. Robert died 22 March 2007 at Decatur, Macon County, Illinois, USA, at age 82.
