The Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth "Betty" Circle of Wadena was celebrated Feb. 5, 2013, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena, with Father Donald Wagner as celebrant.

Betty, 67, died suddenly Jan. 30, 2013, at her home in Wadena.

Betty was born May 17, 1945, to Edmund and Odila (Busche) Myott and raised in Wadena. She went on to complete a degree in literature at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth.

Betty was active in her community and church, and enjoyed reading, gardening and her faith in God.

She is survived by daughters, Katherine M. Circle (Terry Carpenter), Bernadette S. Circle (Tammy Mehr) and Teresa J. Circle; mother, Odila Myott; and siblings, Tom Smith-Myott (Katie), Marilyn Berg (Wally), John Myott, Jim Myott (Mona), Kathy Sellnow (Tom) and Patricia Myott.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel P. Circle of Oklahoma City, Okla; second husband, Richard E. Jensen of Wadena; father, Ed Myott; and daughter, Kara E. Circle of Fargo.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Wadena, and arrangements were with Schuller Family Funeral Home's Johnson-Schuller Chapel in Wadena.

Passed away March 15, 2012 in Spokane, WA. She was born July 22, 1927 in Dickinson, ND. the daughter of Joseph and Julian (Roller) Nadvornick.

Madge moved to Spokane and married Robert Inglis in 1950. Together they raised two children. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for fifty years and was a member of the women's club and choir as well.

Madge's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Northpointe, Peterson Adult Family Home and Hospice of Spokane; as well as sincere gratitude to Madge's church community for their many Sunday visits and spiritual support over the last years.

Madge was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her son Michael. She is survived by her daughter Mary (Terry) Moore of Spokane.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Poor Claire Nuns or Hospice of Spokane. Vigil and Rosary will be Wednesday, March 21st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4420 N. Jefferson. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Reception immediately afterwards. Interment will then take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 5, 2008 in Spokane. He was born to Joseph and Julianna Nadvornick on December 13, 1914 in Snow, ND and later moved to Dickinson, ND where he married and started his family. There he worked very hard at a number of jobs to support his growing family, including the brick yard, show repair, produce delivery and auto-body work.

In 1954, he moved his family to Spokane where he did cement contracting and finally worked at Gonzaga Prep for several years in maintenance. He was also musically inclined and taught himself the piano and accordion. He was a very devout Catholic, belonging to St. Francis Xavier Parish for over 50 years. He was a member of the Holy Names Society.

He is survived by sons: Don (Peggy) of Spokane, Larry (Kathy) of Yucca Valley CA, Robert (Pam) of Kalispell MT and daughter, Patricia (Raul) Cano of San Luis Obispo CA. He leaves one sister, Madge Inglis and his grandchildren: Douglas, Nancy, Mark, Andrea, Cory, Derek Nadvornick and Monica, Sara and Anthony Cano; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved Anna (Sziller) to whom he was married for over 50 years.

Besides his parents; his brothers: Jack, Joseph, Frank; sister, Mary and grandson, Erik went to the Lord before him. He will be missed by his family and many friends whose lives he had touched with his good humor, friendliness and kindness. He was grateful for the many friends and wonderful care he received at Colonial Court Care Facility in Spokane Valley, where he lived until his death.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 12, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 545 E. Providence. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N. Wall.
