Mrs. J.D. Richard

Mrs. J.D. Richard, 78, died Sunday morning at her home at 407 Second St. NE. Funeral rites will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's church with Monsignor T. Leo Keaveny officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Marie Louise LaChance was born in Little Falls, July 2, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frances LaChance. Her marriage to J. Domonick Richard took place at St. Mary's church here May 26, 1906.

Mrs. Richard was a member of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters and St. Anne's Society.

Surviving are six children: Lawrence, Minneapolis; Arthur, Wheatland, Wyo; Mrs. A.F. Adelmann, Robinsdale; Mrs. Ray Socbiech, Bolus; Mrs. Jerome Merchlewicz, Little Falls; and Marcell, Tampa, Fla. There are 18 grandchildren.

Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Henry LaFond, Minneapolis. Mr. Richard preceded her in death Jan. 22, 1931.

Friends may call at the Simonet Funeral Home until the service hour. The rosary will be prayed there Tuesday at 8 p.m.
