Married Dec 25, 1860 Henry McCall Sission and they afterwards resided on the Sission farn two miles north of Galesburg. He died May 29, 1905. They had six daughters and two sons.

This obit was copied from a newspaper and published by the Knox Co Genealogical Society.1

Funeral services for Helene M. Zersen (nee Ming), 91, of Walworth, Wis., will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Libertyville. Born Feb. 28, 1913, in Chicago, she died Saturday, July 17, 2004, in Williams Bay, Wis. Interment will follow the services in Ivanhoe Cemetery. Helene is survived by her son, Kenneth (Anna Marie) Zersen of Conover, Wis; her daughter, Sharon Zersen Ketterhagen of Fontana, Wis; her grandchildren, Keith (Heidi) Zersen, William and Lynn Ketterhagen; her great- grandchild, Andrew; and by her brother, Robert Ming of Onalaska, Wis. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Zersen; and by her grandchild, Kimberly. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Kristan Funeral Home, 219 W. Maple (Route 176), Mundelein, with a wake service at 7:45 p.m., and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday, at the church. Lying on edge at the South dyke, was a Table Stone

Here lyes the corpse of William Minnoch late tennant in Corwar who died November 27th 1772 aged 63 years
Erected by Margaret Martin his spouse and John and Alexander Minnochs his sons
Also here lies the corpse of Margaret Martin his spouse who died Nov the 4th 1784 aged 73 years

Also John Minnoch, late tennant in Mains of Torhouse who died Sept 4th 1803 aged 64 years
Here lyes the corpse of Alexander Minnoch son to John Minnoch who died July 17th 1776 aged 7 years
Also Grisal Hannah wife of the above mentioned John Minnoch who died on the 3d October 1826 aged 85 years
Likewise Alexander Minnoch, late Surgeon, Wigtown son of the above John Minnoch who died 17th Dec 1854 aged 55 years
