A Mass of Christian Burial will be today, Thursday, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation was Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive with a wake at 5 p.m. Visitation continues Thursday at the funeral home from 9-10 a.m. Internment at Calvary Cemetery in Forest Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Lung Association.

He is survived by his wife Judith A. (Sadowski); son Timothy M; daughters Tina M., Tammie A. (Thomas) Swanson, Susan L. (Steven) Ackerman, Sandra L. (Mark) Kubelbeck, Tracey J. Dillon; grandchildren Evan and Eric Sazo, Ryan and Holly Swanson, Heather Harrington, Sarah, Shawn, Sabrina and Samantha Ackerman, Kyle, Meghan and Taylor Kubelbeck, Cody and Zachary Dillon; mother Mary Harrington; siblings Thomas (Roni) Harrington, Judy (Jim) Jensen, and Colleen (Don) Lofquist.

The marriage certificate states that Clarence Norman Harrison (age omitted) was a bachelor, a rayon spinner by trade and resided at 47 Sweetman Street, Wolverhampton. His father was Charles Harrison, a locksmith. Hilda McRobert (age omitted) was a spinster. She resided at 245 Coleman Street, Wolverhampton. Her father, William McRobert, was deceased. (D5216 1 8 Page 66, Entry131 - Stafford Record Office). Clarence died 8 October 1969 at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England, at age 59. He was cremation in October 1969 at Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England. He was buried in October 1969 at in Merridale Cemetery, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England. The tomstone inscription of Clarence and his son Michael reads: "In loving / memory of / our dear son / Michael Harrison / called home to Jesus / 30th June 1956 / Aged 12 years / earth hath one gentle soul the less / and heaven an angel more. / Also his father / Clarence Norman / dearly loved husband of Hilda / who died 8th October 1969 / aged 59 years."

      According to family tradition, Myrtle went againt her family's wishes when she married Joseph Welter, mainly because he was a Catholic. They never had any contact with her or forgave her for marrying him for the rest of their lives.
